This is a fun relationship romance with humor and flirty banter. You can see the relationship develop in a way that feels real and genuine. I was afraid there would be lots of fighting and pouting from the heroine because her father didn’t leave the vineyard to her, but Jaye was adult about it. The relationship was between two equals even though Zack was her boss.

The author didn't use the tomboy thing as a "men see her as one of them" and that's why she didn't date much. Jaye was comfortable and confident in her sexuality.
